Published in 2011, this book joined other fundraising activities to assist the Kingsburg Coastal Conservancy (KCC), a land trust and charitable organization, to acquire West Ironbound Island, an extraordinarily beautiful, geologically significant, and uninhabited (except for free-roaming sheep) island along the Atlantic coast of southern Nova Scotia. The book is a collaboration of Mariëtte Roodenburg (photographs), Larry Gaudet (text) and Christine Higdon (design).
